Our Story: How Little Gems Began
Little Gems Childcare and Lillle Gems Jr. were founded in February 2019 with a vision to create a safe, loving, and family-centered environment for children. Kelly Wilson, our Owner and Director, wanted to build a place where kids could learn, grow, and feel at home while parents had peace of mind knowing their little ones were in good hands.
What started as a dream has now grown into two specialized facilities serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Through our commitment to nurturing care, structured learning, and innovative play, Little Gems has become a trusted childcare center for families in Bellevue and all of Sarpy County..
Meet Our Leaderhip Team
Kelly Wilson,loving known as "Grandma Kelly" by many is a seasoned veterne, having raised 7 of her own children, provided home based child care for over 5 years as well as serving as a foster parent for many years as well. During her spare time she also homeschooled 4 of her 7 children from first grade through high school. For those of you who doubt the effectiveness of homeschooling, of 5 children who have graduated from high school, 3 have graduated from college and 2 are currently pursuing doctoral degrees. She is the owner of both centers and director of the Main Center.
Kylee Marshall, daughter of Mamma Kelly and website guy, has 3 children of he own. Kylee has an almost magical way with young children and is essentially a baby whisperer in her own right! Kylee brings her expertise and energy to Little Gems Jr., where she ensures our youngest learners (6 weeks – 2 ½ years) receive the best start in their early development journey
Our Two Facilities: Tailored Care for Every Age

Little Gems Jr. (6 weeks – 2 ½ years) – A nurturing environment focused on early childhood development.

A separate playground with toys targeted towards the needs and abilities of younger children. The play area has a padded surface to reduce the risk of children being injured.

Little Gems (2 ½ – 12 years) – A separate building where creativity, education, and active play come together.
With dedicated playgrounds designed for different age groups, we prioritize safety and developmentally appropriate activities. -
Beam Interactive Floor Gaming System is only at the main center. This allows kids interactive game play even when the weather prohibits outside play. Beam has a variety of gaming opportunities for both academic and physical development.

At Little Gems, your child’s safety is our top priority. Our secure entry system ensures only authorized individuals can enter either of our buildings, while our advanced surveillance system allows parents to check in remotely throughout the day, providing peace of mind.
